The 230KW distributed photovoltaic power generation project of Bowei Electric was successfully connected to the Southern Power Grid on July 2024. This milestone marks a significant achievement for Bowei Electric, establishing it as the first company to connect a distributed photovoltaic power generation system at the Tangjia Bay Power Supply Substation under the Zhuhai Xiangzhou Power Supply Bureau. The successful integration into the grid not only demonstrates technological capability but also reflects compliance with regulatory standards and operational protocols set forth by energy authorities.
On August 6th, a team of technicians from the Tangjia Bay Power Supply Substation visited our company for an in-depth research initiative aimed at assessing both the operation and electricity demand associated with this innovative photovoltaic power station. During this visit, Chairman Zhou Diehui accompanied the team, providing detailed professional explanations regarding various aspects of the power station's functionality and performance metrics. This collaborative effort underscores Bowei Electric’s commitment to transparency and knowledge sharing within industry stakeholders.
The 230KW distributed photovoltaic power generation project represents another critical advancement following Bowei Electric's previous success with its 702kW distributed photovoltaic installation. Utilizing a "full-capacity grid connection" mode allows for optimal efficiency while ensuring seamless integration into existing infrastructure within the Southern Power Grid framework. The anticipated service life of this facility is projected to be no less than 25 years, during which it is expected to generate over 350,000 kWh annually—contributing significantly to local energy needs.
This project employs advanced intelligent photovoltaic inverters developed internally by Bowei Electric. These inverters are equipped with cutting-edge features designed specifically for modern energy demands; they can adapt effectively to weak grid conditions while operating across a wide voltage range. Additionally, real-time monitoring systems facilitate ongoing performance assessments through Bluetooth-enabled data access points that ensure low radiation emissions alongside stable communication via 4G networks—thereby offering an ideal solution tailored for distributed photovoltaic grid-connected installations.
In alignment with national objectives focused on achieving "dual carbon" goals and fostering sustainable development practices throughout China, Bowei Electric has proactively responded by establishing its New Energy Research Institute. This institute has been instrumental in researching and developing an array of innovative new energy products including but not limited to advanced photovoltaic inverters, energy storage inverters, and comprehensive energy storage solutions tailored for diverse applications across various sectors.
To date, significant progress has been made towards promoting solar energy initiatives within industrial settings; notably at Bowei Electric’s industrial park where total electricity generation has surpassed 2.2 million kWh thus far. This achievement translates into substantial savings exceeding over 12 million kWh of conventional electricity consumption while simultaneously reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 11,000 tons—a clear indication of Bowei Electric's contributions toward advancing green technology adoption and supporting low-carbon development strategies across regional landscapes.
We extend our gratitude towards Tangjia Bay Power Supply Substation personnel whose strong support played an essential role throughout these developments.
